| Hotpoint contract.
SSM has just completed the roll-out of completely refurbished Hotpoint washing machine display stands to around 400 stores throughout the UK. Having manufactured the original stands five years ago, SSM was asked by Hotpoint to redesign / refurbish them to incorporate the brand`s new identity - a contract worth approximately £600,000. This complex project, which began in January 2000, involved designing, developing and integrating new signage, comprehensive electrical lighting, plastic vaccuum forming, woods and silvers. Outside News Unitscontract. SSM has recently completed the initial roll-out of brilliant orange outside news units to Total Fina Elf filling stations throughout Britain. SSM were sub-contracted to develop and produce a cost-effective solution for displaying newspapers on filling station forecourts from rough sketches. Working to a tight budget, we utilised our own design expertise and 3D CAD technology to create the robust, 12-facing, laser-cut units, each powder-coat painted for complete outside protection and featuring integrated plastic showerproof covers. |
